So this is not what I would call my official Apollycon 2016 post; it is more of a prequel to one massive, photo-laden, author and book fangirling post that is soon to come. I've come to be in need of a new phone and am in the process of transitioning everything from the old ruin to the recently arrived replacement, so that process has to occur first before I can get photos situated and the post written.
Just know this: the book convention was even better than last year.
I highly recommend that you try to make it a priority to make it there next year. I heard rumors that it will be returning to its initial location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, so it will definitely be more in my range of car travel than Savannah was--sixteen hours down due to car troubles and then twelve hours back after car repairs, which doesn't compare to the four hours it would take me to get to Philly. Let's be real, logic is telling me I have no excuse to pass up on Apollycon 2017.
AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. :)
I'll post soon.
Carpe diem.
